Message: <blockquote data-quote="94RedGt" data-source="post: 938314" data-attributes="member: 16001">So today i decided to replace my PIP sensor just to be sure, its an original part so a new one should be fine, well for my first time taking a distributor out and putting it back in everything went fine, i took it out and took it to my friends shop were he removed the pins and the gear , well while everything was appart i was amazed how my car even ran cuz i found all the cables going to the PIP were stripped to the metal and basically touching eachother, put the new PIP in and dropped the distributor and at my first try the car started and i timed it.  Well so far so good , the car seems to run a bit better , now im just crossing my fingers and hope it does not leave me on the side of the road again.</blockquote>
