FYI, the stock PI intake flows 660 CFM. Teh almighty LS6, flows under 300, the aftermarket LSx intakes, right around 300. PI is plenty suffiencient for ANY motor you can build, unless you are trying to build power north of 6500 rpm's. A mod list like this, Ported head's "stage 2" cams, something around 270 degrees of duration on a 110 LSA, around .560-.575 lift. Longtubes Mid pipe Tune Cherry on top Will get you there. Most people, I would wager, buy cams for the cool sound they give the car, more than the performance. Ever heard an old muscle car? How it will nearly die, then idle up, then nearly die, the idle up again. That's the "cam" sound everyone is after. A cam mostly shifts your engines current power around, trading torque for HP, low end for top end, etc. This usually happens at the expense of idle quality, and low speed driveability. No worries though, what most people call a "stage 2" cam is perfectly streetable. Just be ready to budget about 4k for all this.
