[QUOTE="badass98svt, post: 115585, member: 7977"] Any tips on how to smooth out orange peel? I recently repainted my door handle bezels and they have a little bit of an orange peel to them. I applied a few coats of color and then 3-4 coats of clear. they are definitely VERY shiney, but I want to remove the orange peel. I need to do it by hand though, I have no buffer/polisher. I currently have some Turtle Wax Polishing Cmpound. The package says it has "mild abrasives". Will this do anything? I also have some No.7 Rubbing Compound. But this product says "not recommended for clear coats". Any tips would be a big help. Without delay, here's the pics. I tried to show the orange peel. The last pic shows the peel the best.
