its in!!! Got the wiring sorted out for the overhead. didn't realize how much there would be but after temp sensors, speed sensors, dimmer/power/gound not to mention the other crap I am installing it added up. I took pieces of my sound damping(Second skin) and cut them into strips that were used to secure the wires. This is an old installer trick that works great/looks great and can always be pulled off later. I also ran the wire inbetween the body panels where I could to reduce problems with the headliner so I used split loom tubing to insulate the sharp edges from the wire. After that I used a couple dabs of silicon on the top of the headliner to replace the stock glue and then moved it into place. After that the consol easily snapped into place and blends in with the lines of the headliner well enough to look like it could belong there. The back portion again is not finished well because I am not finished with it. I threw a coat of paint on it just so it would not totally stick out, more on that later. so whatcha think now? Only a few more things to do before its all functional, hopefully will not take long....
