Now, I dealt with RPM hang by just deleting the IAC entirely, but that was for when I was shifting. I wired the IAC to a switch to use on cold start. Worked great and made shifting feel like a normal car. No RPM hang.The whole reason I did this was because I bought an IAC restrictor plate, and it made no difference. I ended up making my own with a hole big enough just so the car could idle on cold start. I messed with the idle screw on the throttle body (not the butterfly valve screw) to set the hot idle. Fixed everything I hated about driving that car. I might have a write up on it somewhere on here if you are interested.</blockquote>
