Well heres the story, I went to go visit my girl down in FL and filled up here at a local Chevron station. Figured it would be ok gas, didnt get the best stuff butthe ole girl is used to either mid-low grade fuel unless im goin to the strip. Well on the way down there after i get off the insterstate i start to notice the car stumbling and stuttering like it has a plug wire off or a fouled out sparkplug. Well when i get down there i check the wires and all (couldnt pull the plugs cause i had no tools at all), they all check out. Well i just park it till i have to drive it, i figured ill baby it home then check things out. I ended up drivinit once down there, and just my luck i get a corvette beside me that wants to run. The gt wasnt nearly runnin right, felt like it was runnin on 6 cylinders, and i still held within 2 car lengths of him :thumb:. lmao. Anyways back to my rantin, on the drive home it started off worse than ever and the check engine light flickered a couple time but never stayed on. I wasconfused as hell the whole ride home, lol. I was thinkin it could be anything from a bad wire, plug, o2 sensor, coilpack, or hell even a bad cat. But i was just going to get it home and go by Advanced auto parts (i have a friend that works there) and get the codes pulled. I know he would give me the right info on the codes. Well didnt have to do that, as i was nearing Montgomery i was noticing that the car was getting better the further i drove and more gas was burnt off. Finally as i pulled into town the car was back to running like a charm, ONCE THE GAS GUAGE GOT ON "E"!!!!. Im so pissed at Chevron. Im never going to use that station again, lol. It has rained alot here lately and my guess is there fuel had water in it. Thats enough rantin, im headin to the strip this friday however so we will see just how much of a difference that PI intake has. lol. anyone had problems like this before with gas?? doesnt have to be from chevron, i would just like to see if anyone has has issues like this one. P.S. i kno that the intake didnt cause my problems becuase i drove it a week before this problem occured.</blockquote>
