Our cars are getting near 20 years old and were never that fast to start with...That being said everyone on the street thinks that a mustang with an exhaust "is really fast."(In NYC at least) I've had a few people in nice German/Jap cars not want to run because they thought my practically stock Cobra vert would rape them... The psychological effect has lots to do with it.Honestly, if I honk off with someone, I drive the piss out of my car, and most of the time I end up ahead just for that reason...</blockquote>
