Message: <blockquote data-quote="ttocs" data-source="post: 1363118" data-attributes="member: 11896"><p>Guidance?  You mean in when/where/how to install the pins or how does the pins go through the hole when you lower it?  I can't say hood pins are ever a gad idea.  Overkill on a lot of cars possibly even including mine - absolutely.  But for how they pins go through the hool - same way the latch hits its mark and the fenders do not rub the hood, the hinges keeps it all in line as long as they are tight.  Now with pins your certainly not just going to let it slam from 2-3 ft up, you lower it slowly to be sure something doesn't happen but this is another reason a lot of people 86 the latch when they do pins.</p></blockquote><p></p>
