Re: The New DD Nope the Speed 3 is a FWD car and mine is AWD. Yes mine is heavier but it feels sturdier. I will say this i haven't had the chance to play with any stangs but i would put it up against a 99-04 PI and would have to say that it would hang pretty even if not pull on it on the top end. This as i said is a heavy car weighing in at 3600 lbs. Oh and to add when you say A lot you do know there were only 8000 brought over from japan. So unless a lot of people loaded up on them there you might not be talking about the Speed 6 There were no WRX or EVO's around here that just hadn't been treated like crap, None were stock. I wanted a stock platform so i knew there were no gremlins. The guy that owned this before me was in the Navy had all of his Service done at the Dealership i went to Yesterday to have everything checked out at. Yeah they can be really quick with just some simple bolt on's like a Downpipe, Tune and a Catback then the little things like Short Ram intake and TIP (turbo inlet pipe) Less than a grand and you can get into the mid 12's with them. I do still have the 94 GT i have to yank out the tranny again due to a bent 5th gear selector rod. yeah as i said just a sec ago just none were stock. Around here with the Largest Naval base in the world a lot of sailors and military pass through here and it seems they will snag the WRX and EVO up spend there deployment money on it and then get rid of it.
