Recently I'm posting on this forum more and more, and I realised I never properly introduced myself. And with all you Americans out there, you don't want to rouse too much suspicion as "that foreign guy" So my nickname is Mack, because you Americans can't pronounce my real name, which is Maarten. I'm 32 and I live in Rotterdam, which is in the Netherlands, a city of 1million people and also the biggest port in Europe. I've been in America 6 times and visited 23 states sofar. From early on I liked American cars and for my first car I didn't want any of those European cars. So in 2006 I bought my first car: a 1995 V6 Mustang in Deep Forest Green... and I fell in love with it. Mustangs are special cars here and there are a lot of meetings and social events for American cars. In 2010 I wanted an upgrade and started looking for a V8. I decided I wanted a 94/98 because everybody else was buying the S197, which I found to bulky. I started browsing and when I saw a picture of a Bright Atlantic Blue I was head over heels :p In January 2010 I saw this car on Ebay: It's not easy buying a car from the other side of the ocean, but thanks to a company in the Netherlands I bought the car in March. I had not seen the car in real life, didn't know how it would drive, how it would sound... I had never even seen a BAB Mustang... But everything went well, and in April the car was here, and I could see it for the first time... After all import regulations were met, I got my license plate in May 2010. I'm not a technical guy, so don't ask me technical stuff. The car is completely "bought, not built". The previous owner, who was a member here, built the car as it is today. To me the car is perfect as it is, and my goal is to maintain it, wash it, polish it and drive it... The previous owner still regrets selling it. The Mustang is originally from Maryland. It's a 1998 GT, original BAB with a black interior. A lot is not stock. The main things: an Eaton M-112 SVO supercharger (9psi), Steen racing forged shortblock, 2001 Bullitt suspension, Magnaflow exhaust with catted x-pipe, etc etc. Some pics I made this weekend: Engine pic: Interior (do not mock my cloth interior): Me & the Mustang:
