Looked at everything and didn't see anything suspicious. Last week I put a Transgo kit in the tranny and all went well, but when I had the car up on jacks to run it through the shifts to see if everything was shifting properly when it hits 3rd gear I get this awful chatter from the rear end. I put a stethoscope on everything and it sure sounds like its coming from the rear end, unless its a U-joint locked up and making noise and traveling?My Question is: Is it normal to have chatter when there is no load on it like that? I was hitting 50 or 60 with the wheels off the ground. I don't hear anything noticeable while I am driving it except a disappointing squeak (Control arm bushings??) instead of a tire chirp 1st to 2nd, But I am working on that one :laughing5: Any ideas?
