Some ticking is normal. Sounds tinny, a bit like a clicky pen. If its a loud tapping that follows engine RPM and is more apparent on one side (usually the drivers side) it could be the valve train. If its a rattle that changes pitch or rythem its probably not directly related to the engine. </p><p></p><p>Is the exhaust stock on the car?
