That's why I assumed it uses a constant source.Mine did come with instructions and it is the Dallas box, I just ordered it from American Muscle. I read those instructions and the ones on American Muscle and had them both under teh car with me, so I'm pretty sure I installed it about as close as to the instructions as I could be. I'm going to go get some new little things for the wires this afternoon and see if that doesn't fix it. If it doesn't, I'll get me another box and see if that helps.</blockquote>
