Message: <blockquote data-quote="ttocs" data-source="post: 1576949" data-attributes="member: 11896"><p>subframe connectors are just big pieces of steel that are welded to the bottom of the car that prevent the unibody from flexing as much.  You can go with out them but if you are adding power and wanting some more handling/performance then they are needed.  They basically are along side the frame rails and under the seats from front/rear so when the exhaust cuts over if you do not have the stepped rails the exhaust will either hit it, or you will have to move one/other.  I have not looked but I also have not seen the stepped subframe connectors for a while as there was not a huge call for them.  A quick check and I don't seem to see them, I think spintech made them as well.</p></blockquote><p></p>
