To achieve a tight squish, normally a builder starts will a workable scenario at a  comfortable distance and works it in tighter by head gasket thickness changes after hard runs. My suggestion,  run a thicker gasket unless you/someone have built that same senario multiple times and know where the limits are....run the thicker gasket.Do you know what cams youre going with?.
