When I got it, it came with a Greddy-style knockoff BOV installed on the hot pipe. It didn't work, but I didn't know that until I was changing the oil and dicking around with it and noticed compressor surge and figured out taht the BOV wasn't opening at all. Took it to a friend who messes with 4cyls a lot and he took it off and realized it was adjusted to be nearly shut constantly so we opened it up and I was getting a LITTLE blow-off, but still mostly surge. The next time I worked on it, I adjusted and adjusted it but it still wasn't opening no where near enough to do a thing but surge. Sooooo I assumed the BOV was just garbage considering it was some cheap eBay knockoff. Bought and installed a brand new GReddy Type-RZ BOV the other day and it worked pretty good. I was still getting some surge at low PSI (~5psi and below) but above that, I was getting a nniiiicceee clean blow-off and I noticed the car seemed to be spooling up a bit better. Sweeet. But then I started adjusting it and got it nearly alllll the way out and was still getting surge at low PSI. Posted on here and on SRTforums about it, hoping to get some ideas. A lot of people were telling my spring was probably too hard and would need replacing with a softer one or cutting the one in it. Alright, no big deal, I wasn't too pleased with teh idea of popping open a brand new BOV, so I decided to fix some boost leaks that I knew I had and making sure that the added PSI wouldn't change anything. Before I got done, I found a how-to online that claimed to help the fluttering at low PSI on these cars ( http://www.srtconnection.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5653 ). This would also get rid of a leaking hardpipe and a busted one too so I was quite alright with this. Followed the how-to, fixed the ghetto-rigging done for the boost gauge, tightened down the BOV (boost leak from gasket), and a few other little things that were leaking boost, ran another boost leak test and was pretty happpy with it. Pushing around 14psi and holding about 10psi through the RPMs compared to the 10psi/6psi holding, but I noticed my BOV seemed to be fluttering at an even higher PSI. I adjusted and played with it a little more, but now it's stopped working all together. Now at high PSI, it doesn't open at all. I even popped the vacuum line on the BOV off to see if it would open and still nothing. I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure the old BOV was the same way. I decided today I was going to take my old one apart and see if there was anything that looked out of the ordinary that might be causing it to not open on the car. Off of the car, you can push the thing up just fine, it just won't open on the car. Popped the top off, inspected it really good, and there doesn't look to be a thing wrong with it. I'm really at a lost here and have no idea what it could be. So yea, any ideas? I'm looking for anything at this point. I want this working and I really don't have any money to take to someone and make it their problem. So bounce some ideas off me, I'd really like to get this fixed. Thanks guys.

[QUOTE="duh09, post: 651289, member: 10558"] If this is in the wrong section, feel free to move it, not really sure where to post stuff about a different car... :dontknow: Anyways, I'm having a problem with my SRT4 and blow-off valves. When I got it, it came with a Greddy-style knockoff BOV installed on the hot pipe.
