Message: <blockquote data-quote="glittle75" data-source="post: 531138" data-attributes="member: 8675">if it starts, but randomly, it sounds more like an electrical problem, starters usually either work, or they dont. try to get some wire, a decent size gauge of it, and connect one end to the starter, and one end tap it to the battery, like your just wiring the battery straight to power, and see if it tries to start the car. if it does, and does it repeatedly, everytime, then you have an electrical problem, if it doesnt work, or only when it wants to like you said before, then you got a bad starter. also, trace your wires from the battery back, sometimes they will rub, and over time can short themselves out, another thing that could be indentified by running straight power to the starter. hope this helps.</blockquote>
