Ok, trying to feel out my options, so let me explain my situation, problems rather. A. TOB whine B. Vibrating Clutch C. Pops outta reverse. 6/10 times. D. Won't engage 5th... So just for my own well being and knowledge, what causes this? I am fairly certain I know what most of my TOB is. Dealer put an OEM spec clutch, which is kindly stamped made in china. Shop dealer used, did not machine flywhell. And I know for a fact with the clutch being an import, that my TOB is probably crap. But, let's pretend I have a good clutch and a good pilot bearing, but not a FRRP TOB, what would cause my squeal? Also would buying a FRRP TOB and new clutch fork help? I've heard the clutch fork gets warped to a TOB, and then doesn't sit right with new TOBs??? Second, sometimes, My clutch pedal rattles, even to the point where it can be heard with the windows down. Do I need a new cable/quadrant? If so, what brands are GOOD? I'd heard that you should mix and match cables and quardrants??? Third, apparently reverse is hit or miss on T45s??? Lastly, 5th. It worked 100% before I changed the fluid, and inspected the dealer's work. That's how I found my flywheel was jacked up, and my clutch was from China. However after that, it's really difficult to use 5th. I've actually driven my car as a 4 speed for 2 months, as I just avoid the Highway. And stay under 45 MPH. Most of the time, the moment I put it in, it will pop out(no noise or grinding) It just pops out. Sometimes, It will go in, then when I hit the gas, it will do the same. Other times, it will go in, and work fine. Anything at all to say about that??? Lastly any fixes? Good transmissions that are at least relatively easy to swap in? And lastly, any work about the Keisler T45R? Seems like the answers to my prayers....minus that 3400 dollar T56 swap. I used to hate my T5 for being weak under power.... but my 5.0 had 183XXX miles and reverse and 5 never ever did this crap... lol
