E and a friend tackled the diff and my brother tore out the extension housing to put in the speedo gears. So after I get it back together it's hard to get it inti first second and reverse third feels a little clunky of course I gave third gear whine but that was there before now when deceling to a red light or stop and I go to put it in first I get a lot of synchro whine. Now I checked fluid yesterday and my brother had the tranny over filled by about a half quart. It seemed to help with second gear but first and reverse are still very stiff. My brother also had a hard time with the shift detent ball and spring while re assembling the top half of the tranny. Could the shift selector mechanism be not fully engaged? Or I dunno what? It wasn't this way before gears.</p></blockquote><p></p>
