I actually think they're easier to work on. But you have to do your homework beforehand. Go to a bookstore and get a book on rebuilding them. I've rebuilt twice and it holds up pretty well. But if your gonna make real power you should save and buy something stronger. It just won't hold up. I've ran mine on a punch of passes with a 200 shot and slicks and its on borrowed time. It'll be the weak link for you. I wouldn't invest in the astro performance kit since it'll still be a t5 and still has its weak points.
