I had a RAM one and a Ford Racing side by side when I replaced mine; the RAM one seemed inferior in my opinion. I used the Ford Racing unit as most people online also recommend. Hopefully its a simple issue of being adjusted improperly, but I doubt it. Good luck regardless.
