[QUOTE="BigTang, post: 488564, member: 10950"] good tunes are hard to come by in certain areas. even in houston people have issues finding a knowledgeable shop. We use PSI and they turn out some good stuff but if they aren't familiar w/ all the aspects of the build they will turn out a sub par tune that works great on the dyno but sucks on the street. as for daily driving a high compression non-intercooled setup making decent numbers, you can't get by w/ that here due to the obnoxious weather changes we have. 100+ in the summer and below freezing in the winter. sure you can cruise to work but if you get on it in the heat things can get out of hand fast. thats when we started having issues w/ some of our turbo trucks and the last blower car i built, i ran out funds and tried to 1/2 ass it w/ a huge blower and too much boost w/ a sub par fuel system. i burned out 3 pistons on what i was told was a good tune. live and learn...
