There is a grommet on the driver's side that go through the firewall. Alot of people like to poke holes in them to run wires for gauges and such. I would check there. Also check for rips on the rubber boot for the trans, alot of heat can come from that. After a driving on the highway for a bit, my center console gets crazy hot from the rubber boot being torn.</p></blockquote><p></p>
