Its lifetime for the original owner, if you go to a yard sale and buy a 30 year old discontinued product they don't have to honor the warranty. It pretty much depends on the truck you get it from since he's the one returning the item for credit. I've never had a problem with exchanging old tools but some people I know have. If you're a good customer and treat your driver with respect, he'll usually return the same respect to you and help you out. If you happen to have problems with a driver, just go around him to the source of the product and the distribution center will usually help out.</p></blockquote><p></p>
