Message: <blockquote data-quote="Solar" data-source="post: 908942" data-attributes="member: 15574">I apologize if the answer is here on the forums but I wasn't able to find it.  To remind, I have a 2001 GT which it should equip the T-45.  I have some issues with it but seem to be known.  I still have some questions about it.  First, let me list the issues1- if slow during 1st and second...it sounds like it's grinding or something.  Apparently it is not an real issue2- 4th sometimes grinds.  I thought it was me but then find out it is a common issue3- reverse sometimes can be the biggest pain in my asshole when I need to go, especially when I have someone in the car with me.4- it just seems to be a pain to shiftI was wondering, what are the fixes for this if I don't go on the T56 termi route.  I eventually plan to hit the 600whp goal but not for the strip.  solely for the street and twisties and the shifting needs to be smooth.   Will the short throw shifter help?  What if I rebuild tranny, can it handle the 600whp?  possibly 800whp?  I know I can convert to hydraulic instead of cable so that is not an issue.finally, I apologize for grammar...am drunk.</blockquote>
