So for those of you who remember when I broke the shift forks on my last tranny, I put in a NWC T5 that I got free from a friend. It held up to 3 months of hard abuse, but didn't like my friend Mickey too well. So to an extent, some of you were right! lol Broke it Thursday the 4th. Was out with a friend trying out my new ET Street radials down the road from the house. No burn out or anything, just drove down the road about 4 miles, stopped and let her eat. 3800rpm drop, spun through first a little, caught second and KABOOM! it went. 98% sure I broke second gear, have a listen. Sounds like a mixture of a cammed out race car, and a popcorn machine. In reality, its something bouncing around inside the transmission, woot. I drove the car for about a mile with it like that before getting to an area where a tow truck could come get me, lol. The plans for this go-round involve a TKO. I refuse to put anything else in the car, I don't care if it has to sit for 10 months, TKO or bust.
