Yes, the headlights dim a little and the volt meter drops when below idle, i.e., in drive, stopped at a red light, with the headlights on, A/C on, etc. but off idle all goes back to well. Same with the cooling side. The Crane HI-6 box actually increased the operating temperature more than the pulleys. To this much I can attest; with my car, the addition of UDPs produced the biggest drop in ET as a result of any single bolt-on modification I made to the car including, headers, off-road H-pipe, gears, shift kit, etc. Time slip verified on more than two nights at Darlington showed a solid .25 second reduction in 1/4 mile ET. The car, if nothing else, is repeatable. It would have made a great bracket racer had that been my thing.
