In the mix of all this, I ended up having to cut the c-clip out with a dremel. Then had to find new spider gears, another axle, and then assemble everything. The rear brakes took two days to complete because of all the issues.However, I was triumphant! FINALLY got the brakes installed. It still doesn’t stop like a race car, but it doesn’t feel unsafe anymore. The rear brakes were a huge upgrade.[ATTACH=full]47133[/ATTACH]Took it out for the first real drive. So far so good. No strange vibrations and it actually rides pretty good. I think I’m taking it out to the show tomorrow.
