They get corrosion and you can just scrape it off with a screw driver or sandpaper.while your taking apart your intake, might as well clean your IAT... it will rule one more thing out...also, if you have a volt meter, check your spark plug wires.finally, check your spark plugs, they should be tan colored... re-gap them.id also clean your battery terminals if they are dirty. could also be your coil going out, but usually they just go out... they dont really cause problems until they are just dead....  at least with my experience.</blockquote>
