The SR shifter was quite good too, but the MGW feels smoother while still very precise and firm. The gears feel to be closer to each other horizontally. The centering springs are stronger. There is a bit more effort needed to put it into 1st and reverse, but I might be just imagining it. Anyways it is a good thing to prevent miss shifting maybe. The transmission noise is still very present with the windows up, but a little bit more quiet than the SR.</p></blockquote><p></p>
