I'm assuming that since his car has higher mileage, that at some point in time before he owned it, the all plastic intake cracked like they typically do, and it was replaced. What I am wondering, is that when Ford would replace these intakes on the 4.6's, did they replace them with the PI intake with the aluminum crossover, or are they still NPI intakes w/ the aluminum crossover? My thought was that only the PI intakes had the aluminum crossover. My friend also gets way better gas mileage out of his car, and I've noticed his car sounds a little different (and he still has stock exhaust)Does anyone know for sure?</blockquote>
