Message: <blockquote data-quote="ryclef331" data-source="post: 178844" data-attributes="member: 8067"><p>When you turn the key to START, the ignition, starter, and fuel pump takes priority over EVERYTHING ELSE but when you let go and it goes back to RUN, the pump and ignition STAY on while the starter shuts off....SO, you have to find the original wire off the ignition switch that goes cold when the key is released. I don't know off the top of my head and don't know where to find a chassis wiring diagram online but if I were at home, and had a chilton's or hayne's I could probably tell you. What year and model was your car originally?</p></blockquote><p></p>
