So the sig basically states where I'm at right now. full bolt on's 'cept forced induction. I always hear the stock blocks start breaking when you hit the 400rwhp #'s. here is where I'm stuck 1) love drag racing 2) love autocross This car is built for auto x. I'd like tho to still pump out bigger numbers and still be able to do both, along with cruise it down the streets every once and awhile. I know this is a tall order. My co-workers are all huge drag racers and say pull the engine, drop a 351w in it and stroke/bore the hell outta her. Another co-workers is an auto-x guy that says i should just TT the thing. I know the engine wont take TT's, It will easily take a s/c or a T with some bigger injectors tho. I know it's hard to put you guys in my shoes what im kinda stuck. I wanna break 450rwhp...eventually (500 would be awesome if it were street able....). I've always wanted a combo of a good drag/auto x/ and just a daily cruiser on rare occasion. I know the stock block aint cut to do this chore and some after market blocks are probably in order. should i look at newer 302's, 347 (tho that's a little harsh), 331, etc. Basically a best of all worlds kinda car. Right now im thinking an after market durable hard as nails 302 that could take a not super extreme TT. ideas?
