I have the car, I've had the transmission rebuilt in a local shop (whoever tried to rebuild it prior to me getting the car put the throw-out bearing in backwards, sounded like a bird chirping under the car), the car runs, not great, but it runs.  Has a leak on the back end of the motor, not huge, but it leaks.  You can hear a pop when the steering wheel turns so I have to assume there is something I cannot see binding up in there.  The car has 200k miles on the original engine and doesn't really have a ton of power.  Obvious maintenance items aside,  I am looking for a little guidance to getting this roadworthy enough to enjoy on a few Sunday cruises here on the East Coast before the weather changes... be mindful I have inclined mechanically, but an automotive noob for sure.</p></blockquote><p></p>
