[QUOTE="ReplicaR, post: 543550, member: 9209"] First and foremost, I highly recommend getting a bunch of seat time at the track (3-6 days), before you'd touch anything. Once you drove the car that much, you will know exactly what you need, rather than getting a whole bunch of stuff and then sitting there and trying to figure out why the car behaves the way it does. Now, Short Long Arm suspension or SLA abbreviated works better at keeping the right camber angle for the front wheels through out the motion. When you think about it, right camber angle means more tire on the road. More tire on the road means more grip. Now, McPherson strut is not the end of the world. Certainly the Maximum Motorsports with their redesigned front suspension package will do the job very well, just not as good as SLA Here is where you have to get honest with your self. How serious are you planning on getting? Do you want to compete eventually, do you want to turn your car into a race car, are you planning on doing HPDE, are you planning on messing around on the street. Next thing you have to ask yourself "Is it really worth the money?" If you wanna be on podium, then hell yeah, get all the stuff you possibly can, but if you are just planning on a once a year track visit, I'd say that 8k for GR40 and 5k for MaxGrip packages is a huge overkill.
