I have flowed heads to see what happens to the flow when the common 'gasket matching and smoothing' is done. Well, to start, removing the bump in the top of the intake port and making the port match up all the way around to the gasket, lost 10 cfm of flow on the bench. Other guys that ported their heads, even just mildly, lost 20 to 30 cfm of flow by getting in and not knowing what they were doing with the heads. Just leave it alone. It's not going to make much power anyway on those heads. If you want 300 rwhp, then just sell what you have and get a proven combo that will make 300 rwhp time and time again no matter what. Otherwise, as Paul put it, just put it together drive the heck out of it and enjoy.
