Not trying to down your idea but unless your going to spend the couple grand to build the bottom of the L engine, just stick with the other engine. Unless you just want the ahhhhhhh of having a L engine in your stang........and that is pretty cool in itself.  You can do the whipp on the L motor but it will NOT be no where near what it could be with a proper bottom to put it on.
