So I have a opportunity to buy a 2.1 for my 94.
I have allways read some people love these for a driver and that's what my car is

94 gt 40 heads and a TFS 1 cam I believe as seller is confirming shipping price.

This seller wants $3000.00 for the 2.1 I'm not prepared to spend that money right now.plus u need a fz3 lower intake.

I here with meth there awesome but I believe most whould say go procharger or vortec for that kind of money.

If not I think I have a gt40 lower. Not sure what the vortech's are going for as I have had mine for I think 7-8 yrs.

Personally you can find a Vortech for the same money or less and be way better off .

KB generate too much heat to overcome the reduction in timing , Vortech is more efficient , Procharger is even better but alot more piping to deal with and Vortech makes a stiffer bracket for their units , but both are better choices than the KB all day long , the perfect setup in my opinion is a V3 vortech with a custom plumbed intercooler setup

Ya I did alot of reading on this today ya they do not sound like a great choice for the 94 95.

That does sound like a sweet set up on the v3 with a intercooler.

I don’t even like to do 4 back to back runs in my car . 2 usually then let the clutch cool down .
