yea, i read where guys were having trouble with their hood closing. so i just simply put a slight bend in the mounting tabs. clears just fine.

only issue i can think of is what Greg already said. it's a flat surface made of soft aluminum. scratches easy as hell, lol. if ya care about that?? so ya gotta pay attention when working on shit around it cause if ya drop a screwdriver or drag a ratchet across it...scrrraatchh!

heck yea. actually that's not a bad idea, lol. i seen a powder coated intake at show that looked like a perfect polished aluminum intake. shit looked awesome. i just may do that down the road when i scratch this tank all to hell, lol.
