front rate/rear rate/front drop/rear drop

H&R Race 750-850 260-280 1.25 1
H&R Sport 490-575 250-285 1.6 1.5
H&R Super Race 950-1050 260-300 1.25 1.25
H&R Super Sport 700-760 275-300 1.75 1.6

I noticed the rear spring rate are almost the same.
does that mean the ride will be the same??

MM recommended me the rear H&R super race springs
to go with my 300# coil over springs. 300# coilovers are
equal to about 1000# spring rate in the stock location.
how will the super race springs compare to my eibach
sportline rear springs which are 140-295# ??

Far less progressive and more predictable. Sportline spring rate looks like it would go from understeer to nuetral/oversteer under compression. I'd rather have stiffer rate which is not as progressive, and it will always float around the same handling properties. I've got H&R Super Race myself for the rear, to ballance out the 275 lbs MM coilovers. I'll try the setup some time close to the end of the summer (that's the earliest I can make it to the track), and I'll report on what the car feels like. Somehow I still feel like I'm gonna have to get sway bars with spring rates like this.

Various sources say various things, and I have heard that stock Bilstein HD with bilstein valving can take 200 pounds coilover rate, which is way more than 300 pounds in stock location. Besides, if someone from MM tech line recommended the Super Race rear springs, I'm sure they would have mentioned if the shock would not be able to valve that spring.
