I was able to make over 1,000rwhp on the dyno during the 5.0 Mustang and Super Fords Magazine 1st Annual - Battle at the Beach contest.
Pro-Dyno provided the dyno equipment along with a very friendly and professional staff that ran the event very smoothly.

On my first pull, I started out with around 24 pounds of boost and the car hooked up and made over 1,000rwhp.
I told Dan I was going to "turn it up" and added about 4 more pounds of boost. I was hoping to make 1,200+ on the 2nd hit, but unfortunately, the tires could not maintain enough grip and the car started to spin about 1/2 way into the run.

Steve Turner (Editor of 5.0 magazine) presented me with my award today.

I want to thank all the guys at Fastlane Motorsports for helping me with my project car for the last few years.

Here's a few quick pics from today.
The January 2014 issue of 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords magazine will have all the details and the official horsepower numbers.

I wanted to go this year so bad to meet you, unfortunately it just wasn't in the cards. Congrats man. One of the nicest cars around, with the power to boot

I appreciate the feedback guys.
Car is a monster.
In the heat and high humidity and turned down it still made right at 1100rwhp.

In the right conditions (cooler weather) and a dyno that can hold it, the car should easily hit between 1,200 and 1,300 rwhp when turned up.

I just wish it had a louder exhaust note and some lumpy cams!
But I will probably never change it!!
