Is yours a custom trunk lid?

I made a couple of changes to it to make it a little smoother. For instance one of the bolt holes you asked about that use to be used to hold the panel on now hides the keyhole for the trunk lid behind a flip down plate holder.

Sometimes I get a crazy idea and, ok ok most of the time I have crazy ideas and sometimes a good one sneaks its way through....

If I ever had to have my deck lid repainted, I'd do the same thing.

well thank you. It really was not all that hard to do. Smoothing out and relocating the trunk lock took some thought but if you leave the lock there just smoothing the panel is easy.
