Secured the drop kit for the truck today. Grabbed a few pics from their website to post, for now. The front will be lowered 3” using tubular upper and lower control arms. Bushings are Delrin. These facilitate using the oem coil over to retain ride quality (believe that when I see it, lol!!) and align to factory specs.
The rear uses a 6” flip kit and a 1” lift shackle to provide 5” of drop. From what I’ve gathered, 6” of total drop gives the risk of the driveshaft touching the bed or a crossmember. Either way, pinion angle correction is built into the flip kit.
I’m not going to use the rear shocks long term. The goal is to get another set of double adjustable Viking shocks but from KellTrac. He offers a custom valved shock but in the factory length. This time, I won’t have to use a shock relocation.
Aside from that, a set of traction bars should round out the suspension setup for a while.
