Any hints or clues I should know about before I undertake this?? Not sure if it’s a minor, intermediate or PITA project!
Thanks

my cut and paste is not working. Do a youtube search for "replacing door bushings on 94 mustang" and there is a vid to show you what ya need.

I hung mine from a strap like this so I could just chill and take my time and not do any balancing act stuff.
Edit - also that strap in particular is retired from heavy work and I ran it through a load of laundry so it's super soft, I think if it was a dirty strap it would be a good idea to wrap or even tape a towel or something over the door to prevent scratches.

Hmmmm… come to think of it, I could do the same. Haven’t used the ol’ pulley since taking the top off my wife’s Jeep Rubicon (about 6ish years ago?)

Here’s my plan to tackle this:

Remove one hinge at a time, starting, for example, on the driver’s side lower. Support door. Remove the bolts then the hinge; use same bolts to reinstall the new hinge making sure to line it up with the paint marks. Do same with upper hinge and lather, rinse, repeat on the other side.

Will that work? If necessary, I can lure in a friend to help hold, balance and steady the door during the operation,

I wrapped my jacket stands with a pool noodle and was the perfect height. Bottom hinge is not to bad. Now the upper drivers side is a royal PITA. Getting the wiring unhooked and out of the way, then an extension in a sweet spot to hit the bolts. Come spring I’ll tackle the passenger side. I was swapping fenders so it made it a little easier to see
