hey guys... i swear this is it! i think! hah

ima buy my tires tonight cause this is the 2nd time in a row that my current tires have dropped pressure... today i had 19 lbs of pressure.. time before was 15.5...

soooo

im lookin at those Kumho's and they are 400 for two... well 391 after shipping. which is pretty good for a 295 tire..

question is, is a 30 sidewall to small in your guyses opinions? everything else is pretty expensive and these tires are good and cheap. so id like to get these, the 30 sidewall just scares me.. lowest ive gone is 35.

so what do yall think of a 295/30/18 tire?

also what size would i want on the front tires to make it look proportional?

i'd be sketchy about a 295/30...not only will it throw off your speedo, but it will look tinE

I have kumho's on my 95. Heres a pic with the 45 sidewalls. 30's imo are too skinny. And another pic with 35's on my 96.

If you can swing it man go 35s. I would rather have 40s but 35s would be better then 30s. They wont protect the tire from anything and Im sure you wont like them very much, plus who ever has to put them on is gonna be cursing you because I have put 30 series sidewall on big rims before when I worked tires and its not real fun haha.

30 series sidewalls run like :puke:, I would go to a 265/35 before I'd suffer a 295/30....as I said on another thread, this is why you buy 17's!

I forgot We were talking about 18s... you will need to go 30s to keep the speedo near correct.

im afraid a 30's will look gay though. AHHH idk what to do. i honestly think 35 if not 40's would look way way better.

so, does anyone know what the front sidewall size should be to make the two look good. i think a 40 on front with a 40 on back would look dumb.. so anyone have a suggestion?

quickstang, im running 18x9" fronts and 18x10" backs.. 245 is probably to skinny for a 9" IMO cause the lip barely goes over the rim. ill more than likely go with a 255..

are you sure a 295/30 is the right size to keep the right ratio? i'm pretty sure it is suppose to be a 295/35 because usually someone would get a 315/30... :dunno:

Dont forget though that a 40 on the front with a 245 will be smaller than a 40 with a 295.

so a 295/35 and 255/35 will look ok?

ive decided...

285/35/18's are going in the back..

BFG KDW2's will be the tire of choice. ive wanted them for a year now so i might as well pay for them and be happy.
