I’m going ahead and building this with the idea of running E85 in the future. I have been struggling to spend the money on the high dollar name brand stuff and went the same way I’ve went on a lot and gotten used good stuff where it matters and good ole China parts for the rest. I am picking up a set of ID 1050X injectors from my buddy that bought my C5. He got them for a LSA setup so had to order some top hats and EV1-EV6 adapters but still came in under $800 and he sent these off to ID and had them cleaned and checked over and sitting on the shelf so I know they’re ready to roll. I’ll have to make a run back to Middle TN at some point to pick them up. Fuel pump is a Quantum hanger with a big Walbro E85 pump. $280 after coupon code. It is a 8AN feed, 6AN return hanger so ordered up Evil Energy PTFE kits in both sizes. I’m still need to order a T to plumb this how I want but between the two kits, I should have enough for this car and the DSM and a good portion of the Fairlane when I build the EFI system for it. $250ish in the line kits and AN tools. $30 Amazon FPR that I’ve got some buddy’s using currently with good results. Ordered a RaceTronix fuel rail kit as well, they look like an Aeromotive dupe and they’re black which is a big plus over the red Aero bits. $150 on that. I still need to order a fuel filter but I’m going to wait until I start running lines and see where it’s going to be the best to live and be easily serviceable before deciding on a size. Today I’m going to work on cleaning the shop some more and get a list together of what I need to finish buttoning the motor up. The original hardware was getting pretty toasted so ordering some hardware for sure. I need a set of roller rockers, really deciding whether I want to go 1.6 or 1.7 with the mystery cam, and I’ll need to measure for pushrods once I get the heads on. If I get real focused, I may start tearing down the fuel system or maybe the front suspension, we will see how the day feels.</blockquote>
