No JT it doesn't bother me much at all...it IS your build & I will respect the craftsmanship you put into it & the power it puts out. I just like being the underdog & beating the much bigger chevy engines when I am not expected to do so. (If I ever do...hehe) The chevy motors are cheap & easy to make high HP with...the design stayed much the same with tons of interchangeable parts for many generations. Ford did a good job with the 289 & 302 & now the Coyote...The fastest production car bar none is the CobraJet racer...with a proven record...I just LOVE the Esprit de Corps of all Blue Oval beating down Bowties & FRIENDLY rivalry between all camps...makes for fun & lively comparisons. However when I come across a Mustang with a chevy swap I just feel letdown & I lose interest because it has nothing I want to learn or emulate anymore, I WILL respect the work & the results as I said but it will not light my fire!...sure it may be harder with a Ford engine but entirely doable & the new techniques or parts really hold my attention & I make notes that may be good for me to do also. The new Coyote swaps are popping up everywhere & getting easier & easier, just set a HP goal & voila!...you can do it quickly & easily. I guess it makes me feel better having Brand Loyalty...Fords have treated me very well over the last 52+ years (minus one true lemon '88 F150!)! and the bodies & components held up much better than the chevies I have owned....if just wasn't for those darn powerful chevy engines! LOL...carry on in your own way! You are a TRUE enthusiast & your fellow Bowtie powered friends are legion! On my Bucket list is to beat one chevy 350!
