I just snapped these right now. Shit any longer outside and my nuts would turn into ****ing ice lol. I put my phone sideways on the floor and tilted it up to show how low it hangs from the floor.

This is what's stopping you from lowering your car?

Tisk tisk.

I can't even stand a quarter on its side under my mid-pipe

LMAO yea I wouldn't expect you to be outside right now man, its brick as shit. I had this same issue with my X pipe before I took it out for the turbo, it is hanging low. Ever think about getting the X pipe welded to lift it up higher? its what I initially had done to my car, but even so, 1" can definitely do you some good. Your not gonna start to scrap the crap out of it just from an inch drop. I would do it

Lol yeah its ridiculous. Driving in the light snow this morning was fun -______- ****ing bbk's lol they always hang low, my bbk h did the same thing. I already had to have the x pipe re worked a bit to fit up to these MAC Lt's. I would like to see if the x could be pushed up a bit more lol. I'll see tho

Lol. I wish mine sat up further tho
Joe I could put bricks under there haha wish mine was tucked up nicely like that

Lmao probably lol. If the X sat up a little bit more, i'd lower it. I just don't wanna **** up my exhaust, or even worse hit a nasty bump and hit the longtubes.. The exhaust could sit closer to the car for sure though. Now i regret doing longtubes, I mean i love the sound don't get me wrong, but I can't drop the car where I'd like to lol.

Yeah dude it is. I know a lot of peeps drive around slammed, and have longtubes and low exhaust. I just really can't afford (literally) to risk ****ing anything up. And its my DD, so if something gets messed up, I have nothing else to drive lol. I think i'd be safe with an inch drop though. Jesus man, yours is low low. If the streets were nice here, I'd lower mine exactly like you did yours cause it looks fawkin sick. I'd have a major problem if i couldn't stand a quarter on its side underneath my exhaust lol

Yeah I think I'm gonna talk to my dad and see what he says. I was going to put 1.5'' springs (SR perf. from AM) but it was gonna be too much of a drop. Figures now the ****ers are on sale for $99 from $164.99! I think I'll go with the ford racing B springs. Those are the only springs I can find that give like a 1'' drop, and I can use the shocks and struts I have since its a mild drop.

Sounds good bro. I appreciate it. I've decided to hold off on gears or anything else like that until after the winter. I want to get some mm full length subframe connectors and possibly the b springs. Car feels too mushy and holy body roll batman lol

No problem man and yea that's a rough decision. I back it up cause you have the 4x4 stance and all, but gears are probably the best thing I've done to my car (other than the turbo of course). I forget, is yours auto or stick??

I personally don't see what the big deal is with a couple inches. Stock height isn't as bad as people make it out to be.

I laugh to myself when I see Hondas and 240's drive by that are LITARALY bouncing up and down like a bobble heads. Dragging behind them a stuffed animal or some shit hanging from their tow hook.

Yeah its tough lol. Maybe I'll do the subframe connectors and 4.10s for now, one or the other. Mines an auto

I just don't like the amount of wheel gap it has. Maybe if i had some beefier tires out back it would look better. Yeah i see those all the time behind me, its ridiculous lol. It was hilarious, 2 weeks ago at our local mustang meet (a lot of people like to fly by there and show off, that aren't mustangs) we were all bs'ing and we hear a loud 350z coming. This thing was slammed and stanced, looked real good. He hit the throttle hard, whole car squatted down and he scraped his exhaust out back, sparks galore lol.

The exhaust scraping from time to time won't **** anything up. Mine is my daily too.. It's just metal piping that runs under the car, it's not like your car even needs it to run.
Sorry for always nagging you but in my opinion every mustang needs to be lowered. Doesn't have to be alot, but stock height is just ugly.

If I were you, i'd do the 1" drop. You would appreciate the look of the car more and you'll still be good to drive it.
Or you can save up for some coilovers that way you can choose exactly how low you want to be. If you realize you went too low, then just raise it back up. Easy as pie.

Well I couldn't fit my arm under to put a quarter but here's the end of a small wrench.

Once the flange is completely grinded away, i'll just put another one in.

Dude that's how low I need to be!!! I envy the 240 kids.

Lol i hope so. These stock 2.73s are garbage, the car is a PIG, turtle, what ever you wanna call it off the line lmao. I wanna get my suspension dialed in before I do any go mods, I mean i did full exhaust, cai, bigger maf. Thats somewhat of a performance increase, but i think i need the car stiffer and ready for 4.10s and other mods lol. Yeah its ridiculous. Some kid around the block has a slammed, stanced, audi a4 with a loud ass turbo and exhaust, its pretty sick but too low. Then there's a girl at the college I'm at, I've seen a few times.. Slammed and stanced lexus sc400, black with white wheels, drool haha. Then people are like, yeah i scrape my exhaust, look at my bumper. I'm just like, the **** did you go so low for lol.

Nah dude its all good, I actually enjoy the nagging haha. It makes me want to lower it more. All I want is some wheel gap taken out, make it handle a little better, thats all lol. I would do coilovers but honestly for the money, they would never see the use they're made for. Maybe I'll ask for the springs for christmas, now I kinda want to do the control arms and subframes lol.
