So this mustang I got years ago, back in spring 2004 for under $14k after all the discounts and everything they were offering. The car only had 33k miles. This car was my daily for about 6 years before I finally decided I needed something else a little more practical for every day use. Yes it's an auto, but I'm an auto kind of guy. I would prefer a well built auto over stick any time. Anyways the car started out like this.... And is now this..... Not much change overall honestly looks wise. I prefer the stock bullits. Under the hood all stock except the Vortech V1 with a 3.6 pulley and non-intercooled. Now the car had 104k miles when I decided to put on the Vortech. With the tune it made 347rwhp and 333 torque. I had recently taken it to the track a couple weeks ago bracket racing with it. Very consistent at 13.33, .34, .34, but have come to find out, the belt was probably slipping with the low mph I had. Stupid tensioner. Anyways, after all that, come to find out I got a leaky valve cover on driver side and also throwing codes p0172 and 0175. Future mods now are going intercooled over the winter time. I just want to enjoy the car right now. I found a Procharger 2 core intercooler for cheap and going that route with custom piping. There is the CX Racing one out there but you have to cut the bumper support which I'm not about to start doing. Anyways, first thing to do is replace a few things and find out what's causing the codes and then tighten up the tensioner and take it back to the track.
