Yeah I've alittle about it. Honestly Ford needs to do something to compete with GM & DC cause those cars are going for 30-45k and the only Mustang you can get to compete with them costs an arm and a leg. They need to produce a Mustang with a good size block or bore that is capable (easily) of making good usable power. I think Ford purposely builds these 4.6's so you have no choice but to buy a specialty version Mustang.

the only car the GTDI V-6 will be going to any time soon is the new Lincoln flagship car.

i'm not into the luxury performance sedan, but i can tell you this thing will be an utter failure.

the interior looks cheap and plasticy. the front of the car is agressive and awsome, but the rear looks like a freaking Kia.

for a flagship model, its pothetic. looks like it has the otions of a middle of the road Cadilac. the GTDI V-6 is the only worth a damn thing about it. untill you realize the others are using FI v8 engines. (DOH... / homor)

i don't see this going into a mustang.

i do want a more powerful v6 option though. not because i'de buy it, but because it'll close the price/performance gap across the line-up. and give ford room to give the GT some more power.

heres a link to the new lincoln

Man that Lincoln is disappointing, at least it looks a lil better than the MKZ. As for the interior looking cheap and plasticy, thats Ford for ya :nonono: That's all they seem to know how to design/make these days. I think discontinuing the LS was a huge mistake, that car was way nicer than these Lincoln "Fusions..."
